STRIVE Prep graduates clockwise: Gabriel Yuen, Reyna Muñoz, Kavon Bronson and Edgar Campos Escobedo.

Gabe Yuen, STRIVE Prep – SMART Academy
This fall Gabe is excited to attend Johns Hopkins University where he’s wanted to attend since his sophomore year of high school. He’ll keep busy with a major in mechanical engineering with a concentration in biomechanics and maybe (he hasn’t decided yet) minors in music and Italian.

Reyna Muñoz, STRIVE Prep – SMART Academy
Ever since her Junior class trip to visit schools in California, Reyna has known that the University of Southern California was the college for her.

“Sophomore year I never thought I’d leave Colorado, but when we went on the trip junior year, I fell in love with the campus, the people, and the amazing opportunities the school could offer me.”

She’s looking forward to becoming a biology major (on the pre-med track!) and is considering a minor in Spanish.

Kavon Bronson, STRIVE Prep – Excel
Kavon is grateful to have had an education that opened doors for him, so he wants to use his time at Penn State University to obtain degrees that will help him pay it forward.

“I want to study Child Development and use that to help the next generation.”

Edgar Campos-Escobedo, STRIVE Prep – Excel
As a Daniels Fund Scholar, Edgar will receive financial assistance throughout his college journey at the University of Colorado – Denver, as well as additional resources, support and inspiration to make the most of his college experience in the city.

He spent his senior year interning at a local architecture firm, which helped him discover his passion for architecture and select it as his major.

Congratulations to our scholars!
