“If we’re going to pursue our dream of living in great, safe neighborhoods, we need to make sure those schools are performing, that they have the best teachers, the best principals and programming, and again as STRIVE Prep has proven, the highest level of expectations of every child and family that walks through those doors.”
— Michael B. Hancock, Mayor of Denver
STRIVE Prep currently serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade throughout Far Northeast, Northwest and Southwest Denver. There are still thousands of families for whom an outstanding public education is just out of reach. STRIVE Prep is committed to making this kind of education the norm, rather than the exception. So, we’re growing from 11 schools serving 3,500 students to 17 schools, serving 7,500 students by the year 2022. We need passionate and motivated teachers, leaders and support staff to help us support our scholars as they STRIVE for college.
We know that teachers are one of the most critical factors to a student’s academic success. That’s why we work tirelessly to attract, recruit and retain talented and driven change-makers who believe that every child deserves access to a high quality, college prep education. Successful teachers at STRIVE Prep are smart, driven leaders who pursue excellence at every level. Our teachers are data-driven professionals with proven track records of success. Teachers are deeply knowledgeable about their content and are constantly looking to improve their practice. They have excellent classroom management skills and solid rapport with students and families.
Our campus-based leaders (Principals and Assistant Principals) are essential to developing our culture of high standards, structure and accountability. Our leaders are academically focused and engage in a rigorous feedback cycle with teachers through consistent observations and coaching. Leaders have at least three-years of teaching experience in an urban environment with a proven track record of success in the classroom.
We are always looking for highly qualified leaders.
The STRIVE Prep Central Office supports our network of schools by providing expertise in academic and non-academic fields. We are always looking for talented individuals to help our teachers and leaders prepare scholars for college. Check for opportunities in the following areas:
