Welcome to STRIVE Prep - Kepner

One of the many highlights of Quarter 1 has been sharing with our students that STRIVE Prep - Kepner is ranked as GREEN on DPS’ School Performance Framework. We are very proud of our GREEN rating and even more proud of the tremendous work by our students and teachers to make this a reality. The incredible amount of growth our scholars made throughout the 2016-17 school year is proof that our students are on the road to achieving greatness in their lives and creating positive change within our communities.

As we enter Quarter 2, we will continue building the habits of college-bound scholars and maintain our intense focus on literacy. With this in mind, please continue to support your scholar by ensuring they are completing their homework every evening and are reading at least 20 minutes every evening. These habits are critical for our scholars to be successful this school year and beyond.

In Quarter 2, we are also looking forward to our very first celebration of our student's artistic accomplishments. Please plan to join us on Thursday, November 16th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for STRIVE Prep - Kepner's Fall Arts Extravaganza.

We’re super excited to share our success thus far and can not wait make even greater strides as a family- thank you for your continued support!

Scholar Shoutout

STRIVE Prep – Kepner is full of student leaders! Several of our students are taking the role of founding scholars very seriously by initiating student organizations. Two, in particular, Michael and Gio, have persevered in creating a newspaper club and a leadership organization. Thank you to both scholars (and all Mustangs who are still brainstorming) for striving to improve our school and community.

Community Partnerships

Every child can benefit from local community resources and even learn how to one day contribute to their own communities.  Together, our community will determine the partners best suited to meet our students’ needs.

We open our doors every day to prepare students for academic success from kindergarten through college, with an excellent public education of high standards, structure and accountability.
