Welcome to STRIVE Prep - Ruby Hill

Dear Families,

Welcome to year four at STRIVE Prep Ruby Hill! We are thrilled to welcome students back in the fall for Ruby Hill's fourth year and to welcome our new kindergartners, the class of 2034!

This school year we will have 4th graders for the first time and will also be starting a Music Program. I would like to thank our families for a successful Movie Night fundraiser last spring in which we earned over $1,300 to launch our music program and purchase a class set of violins for our Elephants. Our scholars will continue to receive P.E. and Art, in addition to music as their specials.

This fall, we have many exciting family events coming up. We will hold Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 23rd, Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, September 20th, and Family Math Night on Wednesday, October 18th. We hope to see you there! Please also look out for more information to come about our STRIVE Together and Family Council Meetings. In addition, please feel free to stop by on Fridays at 12:05pm (please note our new time) to join us for Community Circle!

We look forward to seeing our kindergartners on their first day, Monday, August 14th and the rest of our scholars are their first day, Thursday, August 17th.

As always, thank you for your partnership. We are looking forward to another wonderful year!

STRIVE Prep Shout Out

We would like to shout-out our amazing parent volunteers also known as the Nacho Moms.  Since the first day of school, they have been integral to getting our school up and running. These amazing moms are best known for their Friday afternoon nacho sales, but they do so much more.  The Nacho Moms have helped cover the front desk and support the front office staff.  They have put together materials for math and writing, and most recently have been helping every morning and afternoon in our parking lot to ensure our students and families have a safe arrival and dismissal.  Thank you to these very dedicated family volunteers!
